The New York Daily News obtained the first images of Pierre-Paul since his encounter with fireworks. Pierre-Paul had a finger amputated due to the incident, according to leaked medical records.

The images come a day after Giants owner John Mara said, “I don’t know how many fingers he has” referring to Pierre-Paul. The Giants’ pass rusher has kept his team in the dark regarding his medical issues.
Mara added he hopes Pierre-Paul reports to training camp, but by the looks of his hand, he likely won’t be ready to participate in football activities for a while. He’s not even technically under contract at the moment. The defensive end still has a $14.8 million franchise tender he can sign.
