Murray was originally slated to graduate in 2016, but decided to re-classify. He played his high school basketball at Orangeville Athlete Institute in Ontario, Canada.

Kentucky now has a five-man recruiting class, including 2015’s top-ranked player Skal Labissiere, five-star point guard Isaiah Briscoe, four-star shooting guard Charles Matthews and top JUCO prospect Mychal Mulder.

With standout point guard Tyler Ulis returning to Kentucky for his sophomore season, Murray will likely slide over to shooting guard next year, filling the role vacated by Devin Booker.
